We really are lost for words to praise every aspect of this Design and Build Company.  We knew pretty much what we wanted to be built on our small “paddock” but Neil Harrison came along and offered some excellent advice and suggestions which were reflected in the final build.  We really and honestly cannot find fault with this “dream” of ours.  Everything was done to the highest of standards and was so well managed - no delays due to materials or workforce not being on site.  The “team” were a pleasure to have around, especially as we were living on part of the site.  Neil kept us fully informed on all aspects of the build.  Mention should be made that the site is on a steep slope and the landscaping included shaping the ground to form level areas, building retaining walls, patios and planting. This challenging task was all designed and undertaken by Harrison Projects to produce a completely finished house and landscaped garden. Having now lived in the house for the past 15 months we think it is fair to say we are “still living the dream”. Thank you so very much to Harrison Projects Ltd.”

“ I am undertaking my first major building project, so when starting out it was very important to me to find a Project Manager I could trust. A friend recommended Neil, who came out to view the site and talk me through the options. He offered genuine advice and encouraged me to view his other projects and talk to clients. I was instantly impressed by Neil’s honesty and the unique approach adopted by Harrison Projects. We discussed my wishes and Neil drew up the plans and has handled the planning process entirely, keeping me regularly updated. Planning is due to be granted any day, and although the diggers have not arrived yet I know I have picked the right team to make my dream home a reality.”

“I must say Neil has been amazing from start to finish - not only is he an absolutely lovely guy (which Becky and I knew the first time we both met him), but he and the team have been fantastic from start to finish. Becky and I really can’t praise Neil enough for what he’s done and how he’s gone about doing it - we feel we hit the jackpot when he said he was able to do the work as not only did we really click with him but also we’ve had confidence in him throughout the project and have been so delighted with everything he and his team have done. He is so passionate about his work and doing the best job possible. Every time we’ve gone to him with a question he’s come back with a range of ideas and options. And every time we’ve gone back to the house, we’ve been amazed at what they have done and the quality of the finish. It really has been a real pleasure working with him and when we save up the money to complete the utility room and living room, we are looking forward to getting him and the team back, although I hear his reputation is such that his pipeline of work is stretching some way into the future which doesn’t surprise us. Becky and I are both absolutely delighted and can’t thank Neil enough.”

“Harrison Projects Ltd successfully completed an extremely challenging project for us, involving the conversion of a derelict Grade II listed stone barn into a beautiful 3-bedroom house. Neil gave positive suggestions as to how we might overcome some difficult design issues, such as accommodating a 2-storey home within the single storey barn with limited headroom without the need for underpinning to the existing stone walls, and even attended a joint meeting with the Engineer to discuss the buildability of different options. Neil gave us an estimate for the structural works, which we all called Phase 1, and made a start. We had agreed to pay for labour and materials at cost as there was so much uncertainty as to what structural works were required to stabilise the existing walls and were all relieved when the Phase 1 bills came in only slightly above Neil’s intial estimate. The biggest unknown - and one that none of us anticipated at the time we set off on this venture was that we should get an opportunity to move to Hong Kong. We talked to Neil about this, and all agreed that he should continue to project manage the conversion in our absence. Mind you, we still had many decisions to make on kitchen layout, bathroom fittings, heating systems, internal finishes external works, landscaping, etc. etc. Neil researched materials and prices and made good recommendations, and most decisions were made by email and phone despite the 8 hour time difference. This also meant that Neil had to produce the Phase 2 estimate based on sketchy information, and he proceeded with the internal works and finishings on the same basis as Phase 1. Neil and his excellent team did a wonderful job on a tricky project, and Neil in particular managed the whole conversion in a professional yet friendly way despite his clients being based on the other side of the world.”
